Amigurumi Bunny Eggs Free Crochet Pattern

You will need
sport weight yarn (2 colors of your choice)
crochet hook 2.25 mm, or 2.5 mm
2 black safety toy eyes (5mm)
tapestry needle, pins, scissor
soft stuffing
Abbreviations
ch = chain stitch
dec = decrease
dc = double crochet stitch
hdc = half double crochet stitch
inc = increase
sc = single crochet stitch
slst = slip stitch
sts = stitches
rnd(s) = rounds
tr = triple crochet stitch
°…+…° = work all the sts between ° and ° into the same stitch
[…] … x = repeat instructions in brackets … times
(…) = total number of stitches worked in specific round
Body (Egg)
The body is worked top-down in a continuous spiral.
Make a magic loop from yarn A.
01- sc 4 into the magic loop (4)
02- [inc] 4x (8)
03- [sc 1, inc] 4x (12)
04- sc 1, inc, [sc 2, inc] 3x, sc 1 (16)
05- [sc 3, inc] 4x (20)
06- sc 2, inc, [sc 4, inc] 3x, sc 2 (24)
07- [sc 5, inc] 4x (28)
08- sc 3, inc, [sc 6, inc] 3x, sc 3 (32)
09- [sc 7, inc] 4x (36)
10-14- sc 36 (5 rnds)
15- Change to yarn B, sc 36
16-18- sc 36 (3 rnds)
Place the eyes between rnds 16 and 17. The distance between one eye to the other is 9 sts. Stuff the body as you go.
19- sc 2, dec, [sc 4, dec] 5x, sc 2 (30)
20- [dec, sc 3] 6x (24)
21- sc 1, dec, [sc 2, dec] 5x, sc 1 (18)

Break the yarn and close the remaining 6 stitches.
Bunny Ears (2 pieces)
Using yarn B, ch 8. Starting in the 2nd chain from hook, work the following stitches along the chain:
01- sc 2, hdc 2, dc 2, then °dc 3 + tr 3 + dc 3° into the last st.
Now work into the remaining loops along the other side of the foundation chain:
dc 2, hdc 2, sc 2, ch 1 (22)
02- slst 22
Break the yarn with a long rest to sew the ears onto the body, approx. at height of rnd 03. With pink yarn embroider little cheeks underneath the eyes of your Easter Bunny.
