Amigurumi Santa and Snowman Ornament Free Crochet Patterns

100% cotton yarn in red (ca. 30 grams), white (ca. 30 grams), pink (ca. 10 grams), small amount of black for Santa’s belt, small amount of green for snowman’s hat
Size 2.5 (B/1 ) crochet hook
Embroidery thread in black and orange

Pattern notes
Work stitches continuously in a spiral without closing off each round with a slip stitch. It may help to use a stitch marker in the first stitch of each round, moving it up as you work.

Hat Pom Pom

Fasten off and sew on the top of the hat.
Sew the hat onto Santa’s head.
Bend the hat to one side and sew together.
Beard
With white and 2.50 mm (B/1) hook
Ch 12
Row 1: sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each st across, ch 1, turn (11)
Row 2: sc in 1st st, hdc in next, dc in next, treble in next 5 st, dc in next st, hdc in next, sc in next st, sl st to first sc and ch 1
Row 3: sc in next 4 sts, ch 3 {skip 3 sts}, sc in next 4 sts,
Fasten off.
Attach the beard to the face. Sew the sides where the hat meets the face so that the beard is attached to the hat.
Using embroidery thread, embroider the eyes and the two coat buttons.
Add a thread on top of hat.

Embroider eyes, mouth and buttons using black embroidery thread.
Embroider a nose using orange embroidery thread
